The invention relates to a device for ventilation of an engine chamber of a self-propelled agricultural i-machine, in particular a self-propelled field grinder equipped with a closed engine chamber and a separate refrigeration unit with upward flow of air leaving the radiator, and the refrigeration unit is equipped with a free-cooling device for the radiator.
The known free-flow devices comprise a rotary blade radiator fan or a reverse-transfer radiator fan for changing the direction of rotation, or a device consisting only of valves that turn the air flow for the purpose of blowing. A free-flow device according to patent WP 128200 can be used. In order to obtain a ground material of better quality and higher productivity, self-propelled field choppers are scattered with larger grinding devices and more motor driven engines.
In all known field grinders of this size, the management of the thermal load of the engine while simultaneously complying with the requirements of the environmental protection law regarding compliance with the level of occupational safety and fire risk prevention is not sufficiently solved. The difficulty lies in the fact that all three factors affect each other negatively. Known designs of field shredders blow all exhaust air from the radiator horizontally through the engine chamber, and this air again goes out through various openings, mostly from the side or front. For field shredders, mostly with higher power, this leads to increased noise loading and more severe pollution in the driver's cabin area, as well as to warm air intake by an air croptaHHH unit and cooling In the case of a solution to WP 128200. warm air suction although it is warned, an additional fan for ventilation of the engine chamber is constantly sucked into the engine area of the particles of the material being harvested, which leads to the extreme danger of a fire. The invention aims to create for a high-performance field grinder with a closed engine chamber a device for ventilating the engine chamber, which
optimally ventilates this engine chamber with a minimum amount of air.
Another object of the invention is the applicability of the device with each of these free-blowing devices.
The object of the invention is to take into account the state of development of technology according to patent WP 128200 to create a device for ventilating the engine chamber of a high-performance field grinder, which prevents thermal overload of the engine and its units, maintains the permissible level of schum and provides labor protection, preventing the risk of fire . At the same time, the amount of air for ventilation of the engine chamber must be optimized so that warm air does not stick and the turbulence of dust under the field grinder does not form from the flowing air. The device is designed so that the above devices can be used to freely blow cooling and filtering surfaces.
According to the invention, it is proposed to divert to the engine chamber through a specially designed device a partial stream of air from an upwardly blown out stream from an air radiator.
The device consists of several fixedly arranged guide plates to which the same number of folding plates adjoins to change direction. Flaps divide the partial air flow into a series of smaller air streams of a specific order of magnitude and change their direction. Through the fixed guide plates, air flows injected directionally into the zones of the engine chamber with a high thermal load. Before entering the device, the exhaust air from the fan passes a guide device, with which a partial air flow with low losses is blown through reversing flaps of directional change and fixed guiding flaps in the form of several small air flows at an angle down through the closed but lower open chamber engine Due to this arrangement and interaction of the units: the fan, the guiding device, the guards for changing the direction, the guiding plates, the engine chamber is closed and the directional partial air flows of a certain order of magnitude are provided, the engine chamber is optimally ventilated with a minimum amount of air. Downwardly flowing air from a closed engine chamber downwardly ensures that the field shredders of increased productivity do not show an increase in the degree of contamination.
The ability of the engine to be closed with the use of this device provides a low noise level that meets the requirements of the law. Flaps to change the direction of air flow allow the device to interact with all the devices for free blowing.
When using a free blowing device consisting of a fan with movable blades or a fan with reversing gear, reversing flaps close the opening to the engine chamber for the time of free blowing and prevent air from being sucked into the engine chamber, and thus the material to be removed.
When using a free air blasting device in the form of a louver, flaps for changing direction are also an integral part of the louver and thus perform an additional function in it.
It is also technically possible to use a device for ventilation of the engine chamber instead of the additional fan according to patent WP 128200. In this case, the additional fan is used only for a short free-flow. Flaps for changing direction are mounted in the louvers at the air blowing channel and in this device also perform an additional function for free blowing.
The invention is explained in more detail in an exemplary embodiment.
